Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

In just a few hours I will be leaving for the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) which takes place in Israel the 22nd through the 29th of June. After that I will be heading to Ireland for a wedding and onto Scotland enroute to England for the Lambeth Conference taking place July 16th through August 4.

Before leaving I wanted to thank once again all those who helped organize and lead this year’s Diocesan Convention, all who attended and everyone who was holding it up in prayer. It was wonderful to be with so many of you from around the Diocese. As I mentioned in my address Friday night, I am greatly appreciative of the sacrifices, both financially and of time, everyone made in order to attend Convention. It is an honor to serve our Lord and His Church with each of you.

I also want to extend a special thank you to all the clergy and deputies who handled the difficult issues we were confronted with in such a Christlike manner, treating one other with dignity and respect.

Please keep my travel in your prayers and I look forward to being with you all again when I return from Lambeth.
