Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Our Diocese's Mission is "Disciples Making Disciples" and our Core Values in support of Disciple Formation are Prayer, Scripture, and Christian Education.

Mother Laurie Garramone-Rohr has arranged a powerful day-long conference to help us with two segments of our Core Values – Christian Education and Scripture. Parishes are rightfully concerned about Christian Education programs for our children, but shy away from programs for us adults. We need to lead by example so that our children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, God-sons, God-daughters and other children will see that Christian Education; especially Bible Study is important to us and our daily lives!

Come, bring your fellow parishioners, family, friends, and neighbors, and join me for our Second Annual Bible Conference - "Were Not Our Hearts On Fire?" and Chili Cook-Off at Christ the King Spiritual Life Center on Saturday, August 16. You will hear how to:

Choose the right study for your group
Increase biblical literacy
Use leadership skills that work with any size group

ALL PARISHES ATTENDING RECEIVE FREE BIBLE STUDY RESOURCES!!!

Sign-in opens at 8:30 with refreshments
Conference is 9 AM – 3 PM with lunch provided
Cost: $15 per person (early registration will remain open until Sunday evening, August 10th – a 2 day extension)
$20 per person (after August 10th or at the door)
$100 maximum per church for early registrations only - bring as many people as you can get to caravan - must provide complete list of those attending at time of early registration.
Guest speaker: Patricia Heidebrecht, author, consultant, and Executive Director of the Kerygma Bible Study series. This is a nationally acclaimed speaker and program.
