Dan Jones was first licensed to preach in 1977 in Memphis, his home town. He has served churches in Connecticut, Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas, Washington State, and New York State as music minister, youth minister, and senior pastor.
In 2011, after he had been credentialed both in the Assemblies of God and the Baptist Church, God began nudging him about becoming a priest in the Episcopal Church. He was ordained in December of 2013 in Deposit, New York. He is currently rector of St. Michael’s in Colonie.
Dan and his wife Debbie are the proud parents of nine children, and grandparents of eight. Dan graduated from the University of Memphis majoring in music theory and Nashotah House Theological Seminary.
