Throughout His earthly life and ministry, our Lord continuously gave of Himself, humbling Himself in obedience to the Father’s will — serving and ministering to the needs of all those that He encountered. He healed the sick, fed the hungry, visited the lonely, comforted the sorrowful, calmed the storms, delivered the possessed, and brought peace to those who were lost, confused and frightened. Ultimately Jesus died for us, paying the ultimate price for our sins. He rose from the dead, conquering the power of sin and death in order that all who believe in Him accepting Him as Lord and Savior will rise to new life sharing in His eternal Heavenly Kingdom.
Jesus calls each of us, as members of the Body of Christ, to carry on His ministry in our generation, actively proclaiming the Gospel in all that we say and do. Your financial gift to the Diocese is one of the many ways you are answering the Lord’s call. By God’s grace and the continued prayers and financial support of faithful friends the Diocese of Albany can be better prepared to accomplish our mission to be one Church with many missionary outposts, committed to the Great Commandment and Great Commission, moving from membership to discipleship; equipping; emboldening, and sending disciples to make disciples.
