The Rev. Jerry Adinolfi

adJerry Domenick Adinolfi, Jr. was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 25, 1941 to Jerry and Rose (Pizzo) Adinolfi where he attended P.S. 77 through the 3rd grade. The family moved to Oak Hill, NY where Jerry, and his younger brother John, attended Durham Central School through the 8th grade. The family lived in East Durham and Potter Hollow and finally in Greenville, NY where Jerry attended Greenville Central High School, graduating in 1959. He subsequently received an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy and graduated on June 5,1963 as a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force with a BS in Basic Science. He thereupon served for 30 years in the Air Force, retiring in 1993 in the grade of Colonel. His military duties were served in the Strategic Air Command, the Air Force Systems Command, the Air Force Material Command, and Headquarters Air Force at the Pentagon. Following retirement, he used the GI Bill to attend Seminary and was ordained an Episcopal Priest on April 5,1997. He then served churches in The Diocese of Southern Ohio and the Diocese of Kansas where he was Rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Coffeyville, KS and Regional Dean of the Southeast Convocation. He retired from the priesthood in 2012 in Kansas where he remains canonically resident, and currently is licensed to serve as a supply priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Albany for the Mid-Hudson Deanery region. Jerry was married for nearly 47 years to Marsha and they had two children, Mark and Tina, and had five grandchildren and one great-grandson. Following Marsha’s death in 2010, Jerry married his high school sweetheart, Isabella (Bella) Croote/Rennick of Westerlo, NY in 2012. Their newly combined family includes 6 children, 27 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He and Bella deliver Meals on Wheels for the Greene County Department of Aging. Jerry served as Chaplain for the American Legion Post 291 in Greenville. They reside in the Greenville Country Estates where he is Secretary for their Board of Directors and the serves as a Trustee on the Greenville Library Board. He has an MDiv from the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH and an MS in Aerospace Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, Dayton, OH.
