Animating God,
In the waters of baptism you have brought us to life
and have clothed us in your Spirit:
We humbly ask you to stir up within us a sacred longing;
Put a new prayer in our hearts;
Crown our heads with the flame of revival.
So that our hands might offer your healing,
our mouths proclaim your Good News,
our lives so shine forth with your love,
that the whole world might see your salvation.
We pray this in the name of your risen Son, Jesus, who with you, and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
