Art was ordained to the Deaconate in 2005 and started his ordained ministry at St. John’s in Ogdensburg before being appointed in 2009 as Deacon Vicar at St. Paul’s by Bishop Love.  Fr. Art was ordained to the Priesthood in November of 2017 and installed as Priest-In-Charge at St. Paul’s.  Art is also the Director of the CREST Center at SUNY Canton. The CREST center offers Workforce Development training along with Alternative Energy training.  He also does adjunct teaching in the school of engineering at SUNY Canton.  

Fr. Art is married to his wife Tammy and has two grown children, The Rev. Scott Garno a priest in the Albany Diocese and Stacy Summers who works in special education through St. Lawrence/Lewis BOCES.  Fr. Art has 7 grandchildren; Josiah who is with our Lord and Samuel, Maria, Tobias, Payton, Parker and Piper.
