The Rev. Cn. Dr. Meaghan Keegan

Canonically Resident Priest
Rector at St. Paul’s, Greenwich
Priest-in-Charge at St. Mark’s, Hoosick Falls
Canon to the Ordinary for Spiritual Development
Christ the King Center Director

Meaghan has been involved in many types of ministries since college, including youth ministry, mission work and bible study groups. In 2015, she felt the call to ordained ministry and after two years began the discernment process for Holy Orders. She began seminary through the Trinity School for Ministry distance learning program in January of 2019 and was also appointed Lay vicar of St. Paul’s church in Greenwich. Meaghan was ordained a transitional deacon in March 2020 and as a priest on November 15, 2020. She was also installed as Rector of St. Paul’s, Greenwich during that service.  Meaghan graduated from Trinity in May 2022 and obtained her Doctor of Ministry degree through Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. She earned a certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Stanton Center in the Diocese of Dallas.

In 2024 Meaghan was named Canon to the Ordinary for Spiritual Development and she works closely with Bishop Jeremiah Williamson to plan and implement formation programs, education opportunities, and large events like the Diocesan Convention and the Clergy Conference. Part of her role is to oversee the ministry of Christ the King Center and the Diocesan School of formation and education. She serves as the bishop’s liaison to the Commission on Ministry and the Mission Committee and oversees the Albany Blooms Thriving Parish Imitative, a four-year spiritual development program for the diocese funded through a Lilly grant that she wrote.
